SUMMER STUDIO INTERNSHIP @ CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE
June - August 2022 | Team Size: 2 | Developer
I got a chance to further my experience in team game development in the summer of 2022 when I worked in the Champlain College Summer Studio program under Kel Bachus. During this time, I worked on two projects with a peer, Max Cohen, with a as well as a short game jam.

Flower Devourer was a very simple project I did for a 5 day game jam to jump start the summer. This tested my ability to prioritize work
to make a finished game in a short amount of time on my own. Part of the 2022 Tomato Jam.
To win, you have to eat all 10 of the red flowers.
AeroKnife
2 Person Team | Project Lead

AeroKnife ended up being a solid vertical slice of gameplay that can be expanded on in the future with more content. I did a lot of programming myself, in the process proving my own programming abilities to myself. However, without the help of my teammate Max, the game wouldn’t have been as close to a finished product as it is. I am pretty happy to have been able to create the core gameplay I had originally imagined when planning the game.
Traverse through rooms by slicing yourself through your enemies' weakpoints
Connect The Apocalypse
2 Person Team | Artist

CTA started as a vertical slice with the basic gameplay already implemented at the beginning of the summer. I was brought on to make proper art assets for nearly everything, while Max finished the main game. This is the most art I have ever done for a project, and really put my skills as an artist to the test. I made things I never had before, making detailed animations and loads of other assets for everything in the game, really pushing my skills beyond what they were before. Here are some highlights of what I did.
An apocalyptic endless runner set inside the game of connect 4.
